Our equine program for individual's with Asperger's focuses on helping client's function more productively in society. Anxiety, attention skills, social skills, frustration tolerance and appropriate communication strategies are targeted. We also use cognitive behavioral strategies to produce changes in thoughts that will lead to changes in behavior. Many of our client's with Asperger's have had a long history of being unaccepted by their peers and find their first real friends at our barn.
